Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport (Gate No.4), you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. The glorious history of Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, is closely linked to the Chakri dynasty, which still reigns today. Check in at the hotel and enjoy free time for relaxation.

After breakfast, visit the Grand Royal Palace, the most sacred and majestic site in Bangkok, dedicated to royal ceremonies. Within the same compound lies the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, home to the Emerald Buddha.

Continue to Wat Pho, one of the oldest and largest Buddhist temples in Bangkok, famous for its 45-meter-long Reclining Buddha with feet inlaid with mother of pearl.

After lunch at a local restaurant (on your own account), stroll through Chinatown, one of the busiest areas of Bangkok, known for its diverse street food and specialty shops. Then visit Wat Traimit, renowned for the Golden Buddha.

In the afternoon, board a long-tail boat for a trip along the Chao Phraya River and lively Thonburi canals, offering glimpses of riverside life. Stop at Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, before returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, depart for Samut Songkhram Province, about one hour outside Bangkok, to experience the charms of the Thai countryside. Visit the Mae Klong Railway Market, where vendors quickly clear their stalls as trains pass through.

Continue to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Enjoy a paddle boat ride through its canals, observing local life along the waterways. On weekends, you may opt for a visit to Tha Kha Floating Market, a quieter alternative, including a short paddle boat ride and a stop at a coconut sugar-making house.

Afterward, drive to Kanchanaburi to visit the World War II Memorial, including the JEATH War Museum and the War Cemetery. Then board a train ride from Wang Pho, enjoying the scenic river views for about 30 minutes, before transferring to your hotel.

After breakfast, visit Erawan National Park, famous for its seven-tiered Erawan Waterfall. Hike to admire the picturesque cascades, and swim in the natural pools if you wish. Bring good walking shoes and swimwear.

In the afternoon, drive to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital founded in 1350 by King U-Thong. Known as the “Venice of the East,” the city is filled with monuments and ruins that reflect its historical grandeur.

This morning, ride a unique “Kermit” tuk-tuk, found only in Ayutthaya and Trang. Visit temple highlights such as Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat (with the Buddha face entwined in tree roots), and Wat Phra Srisanphet, with a stop at a local market along the way.

Continue to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, an eclectic mix of European, Khmer, Thai, and Chinese architectural styles, once the summer residence of Thai kings.

Afterward, return to Bangkok for your flight to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Free time at leisure.

After breakfast, visit the local market, followed by Wat Phra Kaew, where the Emerald Buddha was once enshrined, and Wat Phra Singh, which houses one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images.

Then drive to the Black House (Baan Dam), the unique creation of artist Thawan Duchanee, combining traditional northern Thai architecture with modern, outlandish designs.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Mae Kok River to visit a Karen village before returning to Chiang Rai.

After breakfast, drive through the scenic hills of Mae Salong, covered with tea plantations. Taste freshly brewed tea at a plantation and visit the Akha minority village of Loyo. Continue to the Mae Fah Luang Botanical Garden.

In the afternoon, head to the Golden Triangle and take a boat trip along the Mekong River to see the meeting point of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos.

Depart for Thaton, stopping at Patai Village to meet the Padong Karen tribe, famous for its “long-neck women” who wear copper rings. Visit a traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy to learn about herbs and natural remedies.

In the afternoon, take a two-hour boat trip along the Mae Ping River, admiring traditional teak houses and lush riverside scenery.

In the evening, board an overnight second-class train to Bangkok. (No guide on board)

Arrive in Bangkok around 07:00–08:00 am. Transfer to Bangkok Airport for your noon flight to Trat. Upon arrival, transfer to the pier to catch the ferry to Koh Chang Island.

With its jungle-covered peaks and sweeping bays, Koh Chang retains much of its rugged charm despite becoming a popular tourist destination. Spend your time enjoying the beach and resort at leisure.
