Advantages of Our Vietnam Tours & Holidays

When planning a trip to Vietnam, there’s a lot to consider — from researching destinations to organizing logistics — all of which can take up a great deal of time and effort. Without local knowledge, planning everything on your own may lead to unexpected challenges. The best solution is to choose a reputable local travel company to organize your Vietnam package tour. Here are some key advantages:

  • Cost Savings

Booking flights, hotels, transportation, and guides individually can be a real challenge for international travelers. Without local knowledge, it’s easy to overpay — retail prices are often higher than the competitive rates available to trusted tour operators in Vietnam. By choosing one of our all-inclusive Vietnam tour packages, you’ll enjoy better value and convenience, often at a lower total cost.

  • No Headaches, Save Time

Forget the hassle of figuring out where and how to book services — everything is arranged to match your preferred standards. If you have any concerns about the quality, just reach out to our travel experts, and we’ll ensure every detail meets your expectations.

  • Complete Tour

Even with a list of must-see destinations, planning an efficient route can be challenging. Without local expertise, you might face higher travel costs or lose time due to poor logistics. A Vietnam tour package designed by our experienced travel consultants ensures a smooth itinerary that maximizes your time, minimizes costs, and covers all the highlights you don't want to miss.

  • Best Services

No need to evaluate and book every service on your own — let us take care of it. With years of experience and deep knowledge of the local tourism market, we’ve built strong partnerships with trusted providers across Vietnam. This ensures you receive top-quality services throughout your trip, all bundled into one seamless vacation package.

  • Safe Travel

Safety plays a vital role in shaping your overall travel experience. When traveling independently, you might face common risks such as scams, unlicensed taxis, or difficulties in unfamiliar places with no reliable support. With extensive experience organizing package tours across Vietnam, we understand the potential challenges travelers may encounter. That’s why we take every measure to ensure your journey is smooth, secure, and worry-free — allowing you to relax and enjoy your holiday with confidence.

Vietnam is fifteen hours ahead of Los Angeles, twelve hours ahead of New York and seven hours ahead of London, one hour behind Perth and three hours behind Sydney (give or take an hour during daylight saving time).

  • What is the climate like in Vietnam?

Hanoi and northern Vietnam experience distinct seasonal changes. The dry winter lasts from November to April, with average temperatures ranging from 18°C to 20°C. Summer runs from May to October, bringing hot and humid weather, with temperatures climbing to 30°C–35°C. In highland areas like Sapa, winter can be surprisingly cold — occasional snowfall has even been recorded, so be sure to pack accordingly.

Hue and Da Nang, located in central Vietnam, experience hot and dry weather from February to August, with temperatures often soaring above 35°C. From September to January, the region typically sees heavy rainfall.

Local Money & Expense

  • Where can I find current exchange rates for Vietnamese money?

Current dong exchange rates are available on the internet. Please try one of the links (www.xe.com, www.vietcombank.com.vn). Note: You can not buy or exchange dong outside Vietnam.

  • Can I get cash on my credit card in Vietnam?

Cash advances on credit cards are available at the central Vietcombank in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and other major cities, for which you will be charged around 4%. Hanoi and HCMc also boast 24hr ATMs where you can withdraw cash on MasterCard, Visa and other cards in the Cirrus/Plus networks. In Hanoi, go to the ANZ Bank beside Hoan Kiem Lake; in HCMC both ANZ Bank and HKSB have ATMs.

  • Is it better to use USD or VND for daily expenses in Vietnam?

For everyday expenses, it’s best to carry a mix of US dollars and Vietnamese dong. Use US dollars for larger expenses like hotel bills, train tickets, or whenever the exchange rate is more favorable. For smaller purchases — such as street food, cyclos, or local markets — paying in dong is more convenient and often expected. Whichever currency you use, be sure to keep a supply of small notes on hand to avoid issues with getting change.

  • Tipping in Vietnam

    Suggestions for the sum

    - For a trekking guide in North Vietnam or cultural guide: US$10/day
    - For a driver: US$5/day
    - For a carrier: US$5/day

These people are at your disposal throughout your trip and they also expect you to doing the best for your satisfaction. The working timing is huge, from 06:00 am to 23:00 at night, sometimes more. These guides leave home for a week, 15 days or 3 weeks depending on the tour. For private tours in Vietnam (2 to 4 people per group) the guide can receive at least US$10/day based on customer satisfaction.

In restaurants and bars maybe leave 5 – 10% tip if you have received good service. Remember that 25,000 VND is less than US$1. Not much for you but maybe a whole meal for the staff member that served you. If you have spent 400,000 VND (around US$15) for a nice meal then 40,000 Vietnamese Dong (10%) is not alot more to give as a tip.

One place that people don’t even think about tipping are the hotel staff that you probably never see – the housekeeping service staff that come to clean your room. I generally leave 20,000 Vietnam Dong (or US$1) in the bathroom with a note saying thank you to the staff so they know it is a tip.
